Midwifery Services

Midwifery at Valley View is practiced by certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) who provide specialized care for all stages of your life including:

• Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum
• Sexual and reproductive health
• Gynecologic health
• Family planning services including preconception care
• Comprehensive health care including annual exams

At an appointment with a Valley View midwife, you can expect comprehensive and ongoing assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Care can include health promotion, disease prevention, risk assessment and management, wellness education and counseling. Valley View midwives conduct physical exams and prescribe medications independently.

Obstetric care with our expert midwives is customized to each patients’ needs and is responsive to the individual circumstances of each pregnancy. Whether you desire a fully unmedicated delivery experience or an epidural, our CNMs are committed to helping you through a safe and supported birth.
