About Tiffini

Tiffini Young, CNMis a certified nurse midwife at Valley View’s Women’s Health. Prior to joining the Valley View family, Tiffini was a founding member of Canyon View Women’s Health in Grand Junction, where she helped to provide well-woman, gynecological, and family planning care and services, in addition to birthing assistance. She earned her Master of Science in nurse midwifery from the University of Colorado in 2011.

“Before I went to midwifery school, I thought the thing I’d love the most was the birthing and bringing babies into the world,” she says. “But over my career I’ve found that I most enjoy building relationships with expectant and new mothers. I love watching women and families grow and helping them through every aspect of the birthing process.”

Tiffani has a special passion for educating expecting mothers about bodywork during pregnancy and postpartum. She advocates for her patients to stay active and maintain exercise, as it can often make the delivery and recovery easier.

Outside of work, Tiffani enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and paddle-boarding with her husband and two dogs. She also recently taught herself to knit, which, she shares, “feels similar to the birthing process: long at times, but worth the final product!”
