About Kristin
Kristin Montgomery, CNM is a nurse midwife at Women’s Health. She earned certified nursing degree from Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and her midwifery degree from University of Colorado Denver-Anschutz.
Prior to joining Valley View, Kristin was an administrative specialist in the U.S. Army. After nursing school, she was commissioned into the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. There she completed 25 years in the army, including 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse and eight years as a certified nurse midwife. After the Army Kristin worked at Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, as a midwife for Peak Vista Community Health Center and as an adjunct faculty member at Pikes Peak State College.
Originally from Iowa, Kristin lives in Colorado Springs and commutes to Valley View in Glenwood Springs, where one of her two adult sons resides. Outside of work Kristin spends her time volunteering for animal rescue group Rezdawg Rescue. She enjoys food, wine, hiking, cooking, reading and traveling.
