About Dan
As a pediatrician, my approach is to put the kids first. I focus on them and develop a connection. I like getting to know my patients and families and it’s fun to run into people on the street or at the store whom I know professionally, personally, or both. I was born and raised in upstate New York and earned my medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) and its Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook. I completed my pediatric residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. After eight years of active duty in the Navy as a lieutenant commander and primary care physician, I moved my family to Glenwood Springs from North Carolina. Aside from being a Star Wars nerd, I enjoy family time, cycling, and competing in triathlons in my off time.
