About Carol

Carol Bolt, PA-C is a physician assistant at the Urgent Care clinic at Valley View Hospital. She earned a physician assistant degree from D’Youville College and completed her Master’s Degree from Pace University.

Carol joined the Urgent Care team at Valley View in 2024 after a career in population and occupational health and emergency medicine. “Urgent care is an extension of family medicine,” she says. “I never skip the opportunity to educate someone on the importance of having a family practice provider. I want patients to know how screenings and wellness should be a part of their medical care. For many individuals who have multiple chronic issues, a primary care provider can help ensure coordination of care across the specialties.”

It was Carol’s own experience when her family was involved in a car accident that helped her understand how overwhelming it can be to be on the receiving side of medical care. “I try to make certain that the patients I care for are aware of what’s going on for them or their loved ones and education is a big part of that,” she says.

Originally from Western New York, Carol has lived in Colorado for nine years. When not at work she can be found enjoying a round of golf, hiking or traveling with her daughter. She is also a billet “mom” for players on Craig’s USPHL hockey team. “I’m always looking for a new adventure,” Carol says.
