About Brent

Brent Woodson, DO is a pulmonology specialist at The Lung Center at Valley View. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Touro University and Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Among other conditions, Dr. Woodson has expertise in COPD, asthma, lung cancer, sleep apnea, lung-related heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. He works closely with his patients as they navigate treatment options and is proud of the close relationships he has formed with those entrusted to his care.

Prior to joining Valley View, Dr. Woodson practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Internists, American Osteopathic Association and the American Thoracic Society.

Dr. Woodson moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2024 and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and riding e-bikes on the Rio Grande Trail and Glenwood Canyon Recreation Path.
