Dr. Brad Nichol is a highly skilled general and trauma surgeon passionate about providing exceptional care to patients in the Roaring Fork Valley and Western Colorado. With experience in the field since 1995, Dr. Nichol has honed his expertise in performing complex surgical procedures with precision and compassion. His dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in surgical techniques and technologies ensures the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Beginning in 2008, Dr. Nichol has served as Trauma Medical Director for Valley View. He strives for and maintains a high level of expertise in trauma care, attending national conferences yearly. Dr. Nichol then shares this knowledge and leadership with the medical staff. He is a valued member of the medical community, respected by colleagues and patients alike for his unwavering dedication to the field of surgery and the local community.

Originally from the Detroit, Mich. area, Dr. Nichol holds a BS in molecular biology from the University of Michigan and attended Wayne State Medical School. After completing his residency at Detroit Medical Center, he joined Roaring Fork Surgical in 2000.

Lured to Glenwood Springs by the mountains and outdoor activities, Dr. Nichol enjoys spending time in the Roaring Fork Valley with his family, hiking, mountain biking and developing his interest in astrophotography.
