Valley View earns Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospital designation in five areas

Valley View has once again been recognized as one of America’s Best Hospitals by the Women’s Choice Award, a trusted referral source for the best in health care. Valley View has received recognition in the following categories for 2024:

· Best Hospitals for Orthopedics
· Best Small Hospitals – Comprehensive Care (25–100 beds)
· Best Hospitals for Obstetrics
· Best Hospitals for Heart Care
· Best Hospitals for Minimally Invasive Surgery

The Women’s Choice Award only awards the top 10% of hospitals nationwide. The award signifies that Valley View is in the top 1% for best hospitals in orthopedics, the top 2% for best small hospitals in comprehensive care (25–100 beds), the top 4% for obstetrics and heart care, and the top 6% for minimally invasive surgeries.

The Best Hospitals demonstrate exceptional ratings, providing the highest level of care and commitment to their patients’ health and well-being.

The methodology for determining its Best Hospitals list is unique in that it is the only national list that simplifies a woman’s choice when selecting a hospital. In determining its award recognitions, the Women’s Choice Award uses the most recent publicly available clinical data from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction survey results, relevant accreditation information from appropriate sources and the American Hospital Directory.
