If you are admitted under the Medicaid program, you are responsible for non-covered charges and co-pays.

You are expected to present at the time of service, a Medicaid card for the current month.

It is your responsibility to pursue coverage for yourself or your newborn and to provide the eligibility information to the hospital.

If your card indicates that you are in the presumptive eligibility program, you should be aware that inpatient services are not covered.
